Michael I. Ruxin, M.D., Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, founded Global Med’s predecessor company in 1989, and founded Global Med in 1995. Dr. Ruxin received a B.A. degree from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.D. degree from the University of Southern California, and is a licensed physician in California and Colorado.
President/COO
Thomas F. Marcinek, President and Chief Operating Officer since March 1998, was the president of the Data Technologies Group, a division of Henry Schein, Inc., Melville, New York, and was the president and owner of a practice management software consulting firm prior to joining Global Med. Mr. Marcinek received his BA Degree in Management with Honors from St. Mary's College of California and has nearly two decades’ experience as an MIS specialist.
Sarah Ladd Eames
Ms. Eames comes to the Global Med board with a wealth of health care and business experience. She is currently an Executive Director of Russell Reynolds Associates, an international executive search firm, in its Health Services Practices. A seasoned health care industry executive, Ms. Eames possesses more than 25 years of diverse health services experience in both the public and private sectors. Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, she was the Deputy Chairman of Allied Healthcare International, Inc. and also held roles of increasing responsibility at American Hospital Supply Corporation, Baxter International, Johnson & Johnson as well as Senior Vice President roles for Apria Healthcare Group. Ms. Eames joined our Board of Directors in 2006 and serves as Chairman of the Compensation Committee and is also a member of the Audit Committee.

Ms. Eames received her B.A. in economics from Northwestern University and her M.B.A. from the University of California, Irvine
Robert R. Gilmore
Mr. Gilmore is a Certified Public Accountant. As an independent financial consultant with 30 years experience and previous CFO experience with various software companies, he brings a wealth of experience in the software industry to Global Med. Mr. Gilmore began his career with Coopers & Lybrand (now Price Waterhouse Coopers LLP), working with the firm for seven years in Denver and New York. He has also served as CFO for Teamshare, Dakota Mining Corporation, US Gold Corporation, and NextAction Corporation. Mr. Gilmore joined our Board of Directors in 2006 and is Chairman of the Audit Committee and a member of the Compensation Committee.

Mr. Gilmore is a graduate of the University of Denver with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Member of the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of CPAs.
T. Kendall “Ken” Hunt
Mr. Hunt is currently Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of VASCO Data Security International, Inc., a global software company specializing in data security solutions. He has also been affiliated with several high-tech early-stage companies, serving as a member of their Board of Directors. Mr. Hunt joined our Board of Directors in 2006 and is a member of both the Compensation Committee and the Audit Committee.
